Split Rock Light House, On The Rugged Shore of Lake Superior

TITLE: Split Rock Light House, On The Rugged Shore of Lake Superior.
Minnesota’s Scenic North Shore Drive
CAPTION: Split Rock Lighthouse is one of the scenic Points of Interest on the North Shore Drive. Situated on the brink of a sheer cliff, 200 feet above the lake, the lighthouse is not only picturesque, but extremely important to boats plying the lake. The lighthouse is open to visitors daily except Sunday. Split Rock is so named because two cliffs, a quarter of a mile apart, when viewed from the lake, appear as one split in twain.
